Use of social plug-ins with the “2-click solution”

We use social networking plug-ins with the “2-click solution” on our website. This means that no connections are made to the social network servers without your express consent and consequently no data is transferred.

The standard plug-in integration establishes a connection between your computer and the servers of the social network providers when you visit the pages of our website that contain such a plug-in and notifies the plug-in by informing your browser about the page viewed. Both your IP address and the information about which of our pages you have visited are transmitted to the provider server. This applies regardless of whether you are registered or logged in to the social network. Data is also transmitted to unregistered or unlogged users. If you are also logged in to the Facebook social network, this information is assigned to your personal user account. When using the plug-in functions (e.g. by pressing the button), this information is also assigned to your user account. You can only prevent this if you log out before using the plug-in. In order to retain control over your data, we have decided to deactivate the corresponding button first. You can recognize this by the grayed out button. Without your express consent – in the form of activating the button – no connection will be established to the social network server and consequently no data will be transferred.
